If you import or resell business laptops, Dell remains one of the most predictable brands to stock. Buyers know the naming, IT teams know the management tools, and end customers trust the build quality. What they do not always know is how to buy Dell in volume without overpaying channel distributors or waiting months on factory-direct programs.

Shenzhen Early Technology CO.LTD operates LaptopNode as a wholesale export desk for importers, system integrators, and regional resellers. We quote by model, quantity, destination, and trade term—not by publishing a retail price list that goes stale in a week. This guide explains how we work, what to expect on configuration and condition, and how to send an RFQ that gets a usable quote back quickly.

B2B buyers who import Dell laptops in bulk

LaptopNode is built for B2B buyers, not single-unit retail shoppers. Typical customers include:

  • IT hardware importers stocking for local distributors in Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe
  • Refurbishers and resellers who need consistent SKUs, English OS, and documented warranty terms before they commit capital
  • Project buyers filling tenders, school rollouts, or corporate refresh programs where Latitude, Dell Pro, or Precision must arrive configured the same way across hundreds of units

We maintain sufficient stock available for bulk RFQ across current Dell lines including Latitude, Dell Pro, Dell Pro Precision, XPS, Inspiron, and select Chromebook models. Exact availability shifts weekly; your RFQ confirms what we can allocate at quote time, not what was true last month.

Target countries we quote regularly

We ship to importers worldwide. Recent bulk inquiries come from the UAE and wider Gulf, Kenya and East Africa, Ghana and West Africa, South Africa, Egypt and North Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Mexico, and Eastern EU markets. Tell us your destination port or inland city so we can propose the right Incoterm.

Minimum order and how bulk pricing works

Our MOQ starts from 10 units per model or mixed-SKU pallet subject to confirmation. Ten units is enough for a serious trial shipment or a small reseller line without forcing container-scale commitment on your first order.

Pricing is tiered by quantity, configuration depth, and shipping term. A 10-unit FOB Shenzhen quote and a 200-unit CIF quote to Jebel Ali will not share the same unit economics—and they should not. We do not publish fixed bulk price tables on the website because CPU generation, RAM, storage, panel type, and regional keyboard layout all move the landed cost.

When you email [email protected], include:

  1. Dell model name or series (e.g., Latitude 5455, Dell Pro 14, XPS 13)
  2. Quantity per SKU
  3. Preferred CPU tier if you have one (entry i5, Ultra 7, etc.)
  4. RAM and SSD targets
  5. Destination country and preferred term: FOB Shenzhen, CIF, or DDP review by destination
  6. Whether you need identical configs across all units

We respond with unit pricing, lead time, warranty inclusion, and any substitute models if your first choice is constrained.

Dell lines we supply in volume

Below we group Dell lines by typical buyer use case—not full spec sheets. These are the families importers ask for most often.

Latitude — fleet and education

Latitude is the default for corporate fleets, government tenders, and education buyers who need durability, common docking standards, and manageable service life. Current-generation examples in our catalog include Latitude 3140 (compact 11.6-inch education form factor), Latitude 5455, and Latitude 7455 for standard 14-inch deployments. If your tender names an older generation such as Latitude 5440 or 7440, ask—we often quote current equivalents or near-equivalents when stock aligns.

Dell Pro and Dell Pro Precision — modern business standard

Dell has consolidated much of its commercial lineup under Dell Pro branding. These machines replace older Latitude-style business portables in many programs. Dell Pro 3 Series 14, Dell Pro 5 Series 16, and Dell Pro Precision variants suit buyers who want ISV-certified graphics, stronger cooling, or workstation-class reliability without moving up to a full mobile workstation.

XPS and Inspiron — premium retail and SMB

XPS remains the premium thin-and-light line for resellers targeting professionals and design-focused SMB customers. Inspiron covers broader consumer and small-business price points, including 2-in-1 options. Importers stocking mall channels or online marketplaces often mix entry-level Inspiron SKUs with a few higher-end XPS models for better margins.

Chromebook and specialty

For education importers with Google ecosystem requirements, Dell Chromebook SKUs are quotable in bulk. Alienware gaming lines are available for specialty resellers but are not our highest-volume wholesale category; lead times and MOQ may differ.

Configuration options without the retail configurator

Dell’s online configurator is built for one buyer buying one machine. Wholesale buying is different: you need repeatable configurations your warehouse can receive, image, and ship.

We configure to your RFQ targets:

  • Processor class — balance cost and performance per country; Ultra-series and Core i5/i7 tiers are both common in export orders
  • Memory — 16 GB is the practical fleet default; 32 GB for developers and design or CAD users
  • Storage — 256 GB minimum for enterprise; 512 GB or 1 TB when local software images are large
  • Display — FHD vs higher resolution affects price and battery; education buyers often prefer matte FHD
  • Keyboard layout — US English is standard for many export markets; UK or EU layouts on request when available
  • Wireless and security — fingerprint, smart card, or IR camera options where the SKU supports them

Every unit leaves our export prep line with the system language set to English unless you specify another language in the RFQ. That single detail saves importers hours of re-imaging before resale.

Condition, status, and what you receive

Wholesale buyers care less about marketing names and more about what arrives in each carton. On confirmation we state clearly:

  • Factory-new, sealed stock where applicable
  • Standard commercial warranty path bundled with our 1-year ADP (see below)
  • Included accessories: when you buy from Shenzhen Early Technology CO.LTD, we include a free UK, EU, or US power cord matched to your destination preference, plus one extra travel adapter for flexible resale or demo use
  • Outer carton and unit serial documentation suitable for customs and your own inventory system

If a substitute model is proposed, we explain the delta in generation, port layout, or weight so you can accept or reject before payment—not after containers are on the water.

Lead time after payment

Speed matters when you have a tender deadline or a reseller waiting on back order. After 100% TT payment clears, our standard fulfillment window is 3–5 workdays before handover to your forwarder under FOB Shenzhen, or before export booking under CIF. DDP timelines depend on destination review and are quoted separately.

That window assumes stock is allocated at quote time and your configuration is confirmed. Mixed-SKU orders or heavy customization may add a short prep day; we flag that in the pro forma invoice.

Warranty and 1-year ADP explained plainly

Business importers need warranty language they can repeat to their own customers. Our wholesale Dell units include 1-year ADP (Accidental Damage Protection) alongside standard coverage terms.

Accidental damage under ADP means physical damage during normal use from sudden or unexpected events. Covered examples include:

  • Unintentional liquid spills on the device
  • Drops and falls
  • Power surges
  • LCD and component damage from those events

Important limitations buyers should know: ADP is single-use within the one-year period—one qualifying accidental damage claim, not unlimited repairs. It is not a substitute for misuse, theft, or cosmetic wear. We document this in the quote so your sales team does not over-promise.

For markets where buyers expect local service, discuss whether your model is to self-insure, use third-party repair, or route claims through your import entity. We explain the process at RFQ stage.

Alternative models when your first choice is tight

Supply moves. A tender written six months ago may name a SKU that is hard to allocate today. We proactively suggest alternative models when they meet the same buyer requirements:

  • Latitude 5455 instead of an older 5450-class spec for 14-inch fleet
  • Dell Pro 14 instead of legacy Latitude 7000 naming where the buyer wants modern port layout
  • Latitude 7455 when a customer asked for 7450 but needs a current-generation CPU
  • Dell Pro Precision 14 when integrated graphics on a standard Pro is not enough for light CAD

Substitutes are never silent swaps. You approve them in writing before we lock the PI.

Shipping terms: FOB, CIF, and DDP

We quote FOB Shenzhen for experienced importers with their own freight forwarder. Cargo is ready at our export hub; you control ocean or air from there.

CIF to named port suits buyers who want a single supplier invoice through arrival at port. Common CIF inquiries include Middle East hubs such as Jebel Ali, African ports, and Southeast Asian gateways.

DDP is available on review by destination. We need country, HS context, quantity, unit value, and warranty documentation before confirming DDP feasibility. Not every lane or product mix qualifies; we will decline rather than quote a DDP price that fails at customs.

RFQ checklist for a same-day useful reply

Send one email to [email protected] with:

  • Company name and import country
  • Models and quantities
  • Target Incoterm and port or city
  • Required delivery month
  • Keyboard, OS language, and power cord region (UK, EU, or US)
  • Whether ADP and English setup are required (default: yes on our wholesale Dell lines)

Attach a tender excerpt if you have one. PDF line items beat vague “latest Dell i7” requests.
